Medical costs and disabilities leading to unemployment or under-employment are some of the leading causes of bankruptcy and poverty in our state and elsewhere. For these reasons, LEJ launched its Disability Law section to ensure that all disabled individuals in Hawaii can choose to be represented by an attorney in their pursuit of the federal benefits they so desperately need to ensure they have access to regular medical care and money for living expenses. LEJ attorneys represent disabled individuals for Veterans Disability, Social Security Disability, and Supplemental Security Income benefits. If you are looking for an attorney to represent you in your case, click the buttons to the left, or give us a call at (888) 557-9789. If you are looking for help in areas we do not have the capability to pursue such as medical malpractice, criminal law, family law, or others, please call the Hawai`i Bar Association's legal referral service at (808) 537-9140. |
